I took inspiration for this project from the 60’s ‘summer of love’ where ordinary people took to the streets to protest and spread their new ideals for a world of peace, equality and freedom for all. The first gay pride, anti war marches and Martin Luther Kings speech lead the path for us to continue this fight and I wanted to create a campaign to inspire us to continue to use our voices to overcome inequality and oppression.

Using lyrics from songs of the time, I created a fold out record sleeve, lyric booklet and series of posters to visualise and bring to life these songs once more.
